Churches and organizations from the DFW region have previously conducted missionary work in Ukraine several times. This year, a cross-church missionary team organized by the DFW Chinese Pastors Fellowship will depart on April 13th for Ukraine, Poland, and the Czech Republic to serve God.

In Ukraine, besides visiting two Chinese pastors who fled Ukraine at the start of the Russo-Ukrainian War but returned because their brothers and sisters remained in Ukraine to continue shepherding their flocks, the team will have fellowship activities with brothers and sisters remaining in Kyiv.

The team will attend local Protestant church worship services and share God's message.

Currently, Protestantism is developing very rapidly in Ukraine. Many believers who were previously only "cultural Orthodox" (during the Russian Communist Party's rule, Orthodox priests were sent to Siberian concentration camps, leaving behind only Orthodox culture, not Christian faith) are now attending Protestant church worship services. However, local Protestant church leaders often lack theological training. Therefore, this missionary activity includes discussions with local churches and seminaries on how American churches can help the emerging Protestant churches in Ukraine receive theological training.

達福地區曾經有教會和機構到烏克蘭宣教好幾次。今年，由達福地區教牧同工聯禱會組織跨教會的宣教隊伍，將在四月十三日啟程前往烏克蘭、波蘭、和捷克事奉上帝。

在烏克蘭除了要探望兩位在俄烏戰爭開始時逃出了烏克蘭，但是因為自己的弟兄姊妹還留著烏克蘭又返回烏克蘭繼續牧養自己羊群的華人牧者以外，該團隊會與留著基輔的弟兄姊妹有團契的活動。

該團隊會參加當地的新教教會崇拜，並傳遞上帝的信息。

目前在烏克蘭基督教新教發展非常迅速，原來只有「文化東正教」（在俄共統治時期，東正教的神父都被送往西伯利亞集中營，留下的只是東正教的文化，而不是基督信仰）的信徒們有不少來到了新教教會參加崇拜。但是當地新教教會的帶領者往往缺乏神學培訓。所以，這次的宣教活動包括與當地教會和神學院商討如何由美國的教會來幫助烏克蘭新興的新教教會的到神學裝備。
